Tracks

Swedish born Michael Feiner is the voice behind many big dance floor hits such as Together with Axwell & Ingrosso, Fairplay (Let There Be Love) with Markus Gardeweg, In Your Eyes and Flash In The Night with his own band The Attic to mention a few. During 2009 Michael had noticable collaborations with Eddie Thoneick, DBN, Dabruck & Klein and also with Swedish fellow Albin Myers. Well on the way for 2010 are new collaborations well on the way, among them with Arno Cost & Arias.. Although his huge passion for melodies, Michael is not only a voice. He's also a DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist and a songwriter. The recent track Saturday Night featuring Daniel Lindström on vocals has been spinning radio channels and dance floors with the original mix and also with a remix by Arno Cost.

Music, melodies and sounds have always been big obsessions in Michael's life. Growing up on the countryside outside of Gothenburg, Sweden, his big interest in music made him feed his ears with a wide range of music in almost every genre and timeframe from the classical composers as Beethoven, Tjajkovskij, Mozart and Grieg to Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Abba to todays music of Coldplay and many more.

Michael started his musical journey at a very early age. Fascinated by the keys of his mothers piano, he started memorizing tunes and played them back on piano with one finger already by the age of three. As a six year old boy he composed his first little tune. By the age of 10 he started taking saxophone lessons. His saxophone later on took him around the world working as a street musician, and through that he got into the clubs playing as a saxophonist, which in turn led him into house music and DJing. This was when Daft Punk and the French house scene started happening around mid 90's. The music and sound of that scene had a huge impact and influence on Michael's production and songwriting. In contrast to the house music discovery, Michael found two other musical heroes to influence him, the movie score giants Ennio Morricone and John Williams. A big interest in movie soundtrack scores began.

But it was the 80s synth era that really caught Michael's attention, not only for the music, but also for the sound abilities of the synthesizer. Artists like Ultravox, Thomas Dolby, Eurythmics, Data, Jean Michel Jarre, Peter Gabriel and the producer Trevor Horn were big inspiration sources. Around that time, from supporting parents, he and his brother got a synthesizer. Michael could finally start his musical career sculpting sounds and making music. His huge interest in studio technology made him constantly checking out the available gear at the time. Developing his ear for production, as a teenager, Michael was often hired by the local pop/rock bands for his production and mixing skills.

Since year 2000 Michael is based in Stockholm. Moving there, Michael and his childhood friend Eric Amarillo teamed up together under the name Stereopol. The first single to be released was the disco flavoured house track Dancin Tonight which featured Nevada Cato on vocals. Out of Stereopol evolved Michael and Eric's duo The Attic, this time with Michael as the lead singer. The official debut single "I Just Can't Help It" charted at #1 for a whole 7 weeks on the Swedish Dance Chart. Their second single Destiny with a nice remix package from their fellow Swedes Axwell and Eric Prydz even got into the UK club chart. The Attic's debut album "The One" was released 2006 on Michael & Eric's own record label Starbuster Music and the second album "Remember Tomorrow" was released in Sweden 2007 through EMI records. New releases with The Attic are expected in 2010.

Stay tuned, because at the moment Michael is busy working in the studio on new tracks, always chasing exciting melodies and sounds.
